Patience and commitment are two main requirements when starting potty training for your Dog.
During this teaching process, accidents and consistency become a part of the process to ensure your newest family member gets the right potty training. Here are a few training techniques to train your buddy:
Establish a routine:
Dogs love doing things on a fixed schedule. It makes things easier for them to practice and remember. So, the first step to plan your Dog’s potty training starts with establishing time boundaries. Once the timings are finalized, consistency and continued practice make it easier for your training succeed.

Place matters:
Whether it's outside or inside is the most vital decision that one needs to know to finalize the place for the potty training. This decision becomes the backbone of your training schedule. Remember, once you make your decision, there is no turning back. So, ensure your decision is wiser and you stick with it or your Dog would face the consequence. Be responsible while you are deciding.
Outdoor:
If you have decided to potty train your Dog outside, then walk your dog outside at least for an hour once they wake up, during, or after playtime and mealtime.

Indoor:
Keep an exclusive spot or a bathroom only for your Dog. Run with your dog whenever they feel like potting. Show and guide them repeatedly for them to go by themselves. Have enough patience while training them indoors.

Reward your pooch:
Rewarding is a motivational factor for your dog to learn and get trained. Treats create enthusiasm to learn something new. Along with treats, even praising and hugging your Dog after minor victories urges them to do better.

Put your puppy on a fixed eating schedule:
With fixed eating timing, it becomes easier for you to know whether your Dog wants to potty. Start noticing your Dog’s emotions, body language, and signals whenever they go to potty or pee. With a fixed eating schedule, it is easier for the Dog to understand why potty training is mandatory.
